On Saturday 29th of June, come see our stall at the Community Carnival at Stanhope Park, Darlington.

Our volunteers will be selling delicious home-made cakes and will be sharing information on the situation of refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

All profits from our cake sale will, of course, go fully towards providing assistance to the refugee and asylum seeker families in Darlington.

This means you get to enjoy the carnival, eat the cake AND help other human-beings who have escaped hell and are now rebuilding their lives in our community. Can it get any better?

Sunday 23rd June was the Great Get Together in South Park.
DAR has participated with a stand: we had the opportunity to share information about refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

It was great fun, a sunny (albeit rather cold) day of music, food and friendship. Below are some photos from the event.
